New Patient FAQ's

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

Bring your prescription from your doctor and your insurance card. You should also bring any type of device that you normally use for walking (ie, cane, walker, etc.)

What types of insurance do you accept?

We accept most major insurance carriers, including Medicare, Medicaid, worker's compensation, and private health insurance.

What if you do not accept my insurance?

In most cases, we can work with insurance companies to provide out-of-network benefits.

How much will I have to pay for my brace/prosthesis?

It depends on your insurance benefits. If you are required to pay a portion or all of the cost, we require at least a 50% deposit at the initial evaluation. We will require the remainder of the cost to be paid prior to delivery of the brace/prosthesis.

What if I am unable to afford the cost of my brace/prosthesis?

In cases of financial hardship, please talk to our office staff who may be able to assist you with a payment plan.

Will you come to my house for my appointment?

We charge $45 each way for home visits within the St. Louis metro area. Additional mileage charges may apply for home visits outside this area.
